Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the achievement of departmental goals.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship building.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and drive customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, progress, and results.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in business development to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, with a focus on driving growth and achieving targets.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
