Maintenance Manager

Job Purpose Responsible for the preventive and breakdown maintenance of all machinery, pumps, and equipment, while ensuring safe and compliant operation of the chemical storage area to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities 1. Machinery & Equipment Maintenance Perform preventative maintenance of all machinery and equipment as per Department Head’s guidelines. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or technical issues to reduce downtime. Maintain schedules for periodic servicing and maintenance of all plant equipment. Carry out maintenance of pumps (mechanical seal type), blowers, reactors, and other rotary equipment. Ensure machinery breakdown time is minimized. 2. Chemical Storage Area Management Monitor and maintain chemical storage tanks and pump rooms in the foam production area. Inspect for leaks, damages, or potential hazards in storage tanks and pipelines. Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols for handling chemicals. 3. Safety & Compliance Follow and enforce safety guidelines during all maintenance jobs. Report plant defects or safety breaches to supervisors immediately. Maintain high housekeeping standards in machinery and chemical storage areas. 4. Operational Efficiency Prioritize tasks based on urgency and operational needs. Manage and guide maintenance manpower for optimal productivity. Ensure all maintenance activities are documented and reported.
