Job Description

The Maintenance Incharge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of all building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, and general repairs. This role involves supervision of the technical team, ensuring preventive and breakdown maintenance, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:1. Maintenance Oversight:

  • Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities for electrical, plumbing, AC/HVAC, lifts, pumps, and fire systems.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution.
  • Coordinate and respond to urgent maintenance issues and breakdowns.

2. Team Management:

  • Lead and supervise technicians, electricians, plumbers, and AC mechanics.
  • Allocate daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical support.
  • Ensure staff follow safety procedures and company policies.

3. Vendor & AMC Coordination:

  • Liaise with external vendors and contractors for specialized services and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts).
  • Monitor quality of work and ensure timely completion of outsourced jobs.

4. Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with statutory and safety regulations (electrical safety, fire systems, etc.).
  • Conduct regular safety drills and inspections.
  • Maintain and update all maintenance and safety-related documentation.

5. Inventory & Reporting:

  • Maintain stock of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance work, service reports, checklists, and equipment logs.
  • Prepare periodic reports on maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma / ITI in Electrical / Mechanical / HVAC / Plumbing or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in facility or maintenance management.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, preventive maintenance, and vendor handling.
  • Familiarity with fire and safety systems, DG sets, lifts, and building services.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per month
