Job Description

Maintenance Planning & Execution

  • Implement PM, PdM, and breakdown maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure timely maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Plan and execute shutdown maintenance activities.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and supervise engineers, technicians, and contractors.
  • Conduct skill assessments and provide training.
  • Ensure safety, discipline, and productivity within the team.

Spare Parts & Inventory

  • Maintain optimum spare parts inventory.
  • Ensure 5S implementation in maintenance stores.
  • Coordinate with purchasing for vendor and cost management.

Equipment Reliability

  • Monitor MTTR, MTBF, OEE, and other maintenance KPIs.
  • Conduct RCA (5 Why, 8D) for recurring issues.
  • Implement reliability and cost-saving improvement projects.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and statutory documents.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO and safety standards.
  • Prepare and update SOPs and work instructions.

Energy & Utilities

  • Oversee compressors, boilers, DG sets, HVAC, and other utilities.
  • Implement and track energy-saving initiatives.

Budget & Cost Control

Prepare and manage maintenance budgets.

  • Control expenses and approve maintenance purchases.

Technical Skills

  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • PLC/automation, hydraulics, pneumatics (preferred).
  • Knowledge of TPM, Lean, and industrial safety standards.
  • Proficiency in CMMS/ERP systems.
