Maintenance Manager

1. Equipment & Facility Maintenance

• Oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all production equipment, utility systems, and facility infrastructure.
  
• Ensure continuous and reliable operation of equipment such as HVAC systems, AHUs, compressors, boilers, WFI, purified water systems, generators, and production machinery.
  
• Maintain facility areas including cleanrooms, HVAC filters, ETP/STP, electrical panels, DG sets, UPS, and water systems.
  

2. GMP & Compliance

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP, cGMP, , and other regulatory norms.
  
• Maintain proper calibration schedules and supporting documentation for all critical equipment/instruments.
  
• Prepare and update SOPs, protocols, maintenance logs, and calibration records.
  
• Support in plant validation activities (HVAC validation, equipment qualification, utility validation).
  
• Address audit observations (internal/external), prepare CAPA, and ensure timely closure.
  

3. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules in line with OEM guidelines and plant needs.
  
• Monitor equipment performance trends and apply root-cause analysis for chronic issues.
  
• Optimize machine uptime and reduce unplanned breakdowns.
  

4. Team Leadership & Vendor Management

• Lead a team of technicians, engineers, and maintenance supervisors.
  
• Conduct skill training, performance evaluation, and shift planning.
  
• Manage AMC contracts, negotiate with vendors, and evaluate service quality.
  
• Ensure timely procurement of critical spares, tools, and consumables.
  

5. Safety & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to electrical safety, boiler operations, fire systems, pressure vessels, and environmental regulations.
  
• Oversee fire alarm systems, hydrants, safety interlocks, and emergency power systems.
  
• Implement EHS practices and support safety audits.
  

6. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Prepare and manage annual maintenance budgets.
  
• Track cost of utilities (power, water, steam), identify optimization opportunities.
  
• Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising compliance and safety.
