1. Facility Management

• Ensure all retail stores and facilities are well-maintained and operate smoothly.
• Monitor and manage the cleanliness, repair, and upkeep of buildings, store equipment, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate routine maintenance schedules for HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems.

2. Vendor and Contractor Management

• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance work, such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.
• Negotiate service contracts and monitor the performance of contractors and service providers.
• Ensure all external vendors comply with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

3. Budgeting and Cost Control

• Develop and manage the maintenance budget for the retail locations.
• Monitor expenditures related to maintenance and repair work to ensure they stay within budget.
• Evaluate cost-effective solutions for maintenance and repair, including evaluating new technologies or practices to reduce long-term expenses.

4. Safety Compliance

• Ensure all maintenance work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Regularly conduct safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure that issues are addressed immediately.
• Oversee fire safety and emergency response plans, including the maintenance of fire alarms, emergency exits, and safety signage.

5. Equipment and Asset Management

• Track the condition and usage of retail assets, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Oversee the procurement of maintenance-related tools and equipment, ensuring everything is in working condition.
• Implement systems for regular inspection and preventive maintenance of retail equipment.

6. Problem Resolution

• Act as the point of contact for resolving major maintenance issues or emergencies.
• Handle unexpected repairs and ensure timely responses to breakdowns or facility disruptions.
• Analyze recurring issues to implement long-term solutions.

7. Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Generate regular reports for senior management on the status of facilities, maintenance schedules, and budgets.
• Document and track warranties, service agreements, and insurance policies related to retail facilities.

8. Project Management

• Oversee larger renovation or maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Work closely with construction and design teams for new store openings or refurbishments.

We hope that you have

• 2-5 years of experience in Maintenance.
• A strong background in facility management, preferably in a retail environment
• Proven experience managing vendors, contractors, and maintenance teams
• A keen eye for detail when it comes to safety, compliance, and cost control
• The ability to handle multiple priorities and resolve issues swiftly
