Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and organized Logistics Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the logistics operations of our steel roofing sheet manufacturing plant. The role involves managing inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, transport coordination, warehouse operations, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers while maintaining cost-efficiency and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily logistics operations including transportation, receiving, and warehousing.
• Plan and manage the movement of steel roofing sheets from production to customers or storage.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure timely dispatch of finished goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records using ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Select and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and transport contractors.
• Ensure compliance with local transportation and safety regulations.
• Track and report key logistics KPIs such as delivery times, freight costs, and inventory accuracy.
• Handle logistics-related documentation including delivery notes, invoices, and transport permits.
• Resolve delivery-related customer complaints or transportation issues promptly.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures for efficient and safe logistics operations.
• Train and supervise logistics team members including drivers, loaders, and warehouse assistants

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 0–3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of logistics software, MS Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Good communication and negotiation abilities.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
