Job Description

Job Title: FTL & PTL Sales and Marketing

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their FTL and PTL shipping needs and offer tailored logistics solutions.

2. Negotiate Contracts and Rates: Negotiate contracts and rates with customers and carriers to maximize profitability and ensure service satisfaction for FTL and PTL shipments.

3. Coordinate Logistics Operations: Oversee and manage logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of FTL and PTL shipments.

4. Analyze Market Trends: Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new sales opportunities and areas for growth in the FTL and PTL markets.

5. Prepare Sales Proposals: Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to new and existing clients for FTL and PTL services.

6. Resolve Customer Complaints: Resolve any customer complaints or issues regarding FTL and PTL shipping services to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

2. Proven Sales Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the logistics industry with a focus on FTL and PTL services.

3. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

4. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity in the FTL and PTL markets.

5. Logistics Software Proficiency: Proficiency in logistics software, such as transportation management systems (TMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
