Logistics Manager

We are looking for *Logistics & Dispatch Manager*_ _*Location*_ : Mohali _*Department:*_ Supply Chain & Operations _*Experience*_ : In Logistics, Dispatch, or Supply Chain Management _*About the Role*_ We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & Dispatch Manager to lead our end-to-end dispatch operations. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless order fulfilment, on-time dispatches, efficient last-mile coordination, and continuous improvements in delivery performance. --- _*Key Responsibilities*_ * Dispatch & Order Fulfilment * Oversee daily dispatch operations from order receipt to final delivery. * Ensure accurate, timely, and damage-free dispatch of all shipments. * Coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain dispatch readiness and load accuracy. * Logistics Coordination * Manage transport partners, develop schedules, and ensure vehicle availability for timely pickups. * Monitor in-transit movement and proactively address route delays or disruptions. * Track and escalate exceptions (delays, damages, RTOs, misroutes) for swift resolution. _*Delivery & Performance Optimization*_ * Improve TAT (Turnaround Time) through route planning, load consolidation, and vendor performance evaluation. * Optimize delivery flows to reduce cost-per-shipment without impacting service levels. * Analyse dispatch and delivery metrics to identify gaps and implement corrective actions. * Inventory & Documentation * Ensure accurate documentation: manifests, LR copies, e-way bills, dispatch sheets, and POD management. * Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and finance teams for smooth order processing and billing alignment. * Maintain dispatch MIS, daily logs, and shipment trackers. * Vendor & Team Management * Liaise with logistics partners to negotiate rates, service SLAs, and performance KPIs. * Guide and train the dispatch and warehouse handling staff. * Monitor vendor compliance to safety, quality, and company SOPs. --- _*Required Skills & Experience*_ * Strong understanding of logistics operations: dispatch, routing, transport coordination, and tracking. * Hands-on experience with TMS / logistics portals / ERP systems. * Analytical mindset with ability to read dashboards, MIS, and identify bottlenecks. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. --- _*Preferred Qualifications*_ * Experience in FMCG, beverages, or high-movement consumer goods is a plus. * Knowledge of 3PL management and last-mile delivery models.
