Logistics Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the SLA/SOPs of Primary Transport at the Factory and OEM level along with National HUB WH operations or large WH operations. Your role will involve periodic analysis of the performance of primary Carriers and ensuring maximum utilization of vehicle CBM. Additionally, you will be tasked with implementing new initiatives to enhance quality and delivery standards. Setting transport basics of operations, defining quality norms, and ensuring the safety of material methods will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain SLAs including OTA, Delay, Damages, Placement, and Tracking - Oversee OTD: IOD/POD Management, Load management, Detention, and Delivery Management - Manage Vendor Management to maximize output and create a strong vendor base - Stay informed about competition and identify opportunities for better cost and quality benefits - Oversee Insurance Management to ensure insurance claims for damaged and accident materials are settled - Plan and manage logistics, Warehouse, transportation, and customer services effectively - Monitor Quality, Quantity Stock, Stock Level, Delivery Times, transport costs, and efficiency at the factory & CDC level - Arrange Warehouse, Catalogue Goods, plan routes, and process shipments efficiently - Manage Raw Material WH Operations and support the Factory in managing short-term or long-term planning related to Raw material management - Develop Vendors to handle operations effectively Qualifications Required: - Knowledge of Primary Freight, Route, and type of vehicles used as per industry standards - Strategic planning skills for logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services - Strong communication and vendor management skills - Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement - Experience in managing SLAs and overseeing insurance claims for damaged materials (Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description),
