Job Description

Logistics Planning and Coordination Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes. Schedule and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery. Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and other stakeholders for smooth operations. Inventory and Warehouse Management Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock control. Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring goods are stored and handled efficiently and safely. Maintain accurate records of stock movements and reconciliations. Team Leadership and Management Supervise and provide guidance to the logistics and warehouse team. Assign tasks, evaluate performance, and ensure adherence to company policies. Compliance and Documentation Ensure all logistics activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Prepare and manage shipping documents, invoices, and other records. Cost Control and Efficiency Analyze logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction. Negotiate contracts with vendors and transporters for the best rates and services. Problem-Solving and Continuous Improvement Address and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies. Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
