Sales Manager (Unsecured Business Loans)

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

POSITION REPORTS TO: AREA SALES MANAGER (BUSINESS LOANS)

DEPARTMENT: SALES

POSITION LOCATION: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (On-site)

COMPANY BUDGET: 5-6 LPA.


POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Manager – Unsecured Business Loans will be responsible for Individual role to drive

the acquisition of unsecured business loans. The role involves strategizing, sourcing, and

managing a high-performing team to meet sales targets while ensuring compliance with company

policies and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the

SME/MSME lending landscape, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to develop business

through both direct and channel sales.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

o Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business loan disbursement targets.

o Lead and manage a team of sales executives and relationship managers.

o Identify and develop new sourcing channels (DSAs, connectors, digital leads, etc.)

o Drive business growth through client acquisition in the MSME segment.

o Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and conduct regular training sessions.

o Coordinate with credit, operations, and risk teams for smooth loan processing and

disbursements.

o Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities.

o Ensure adherence to credit policies and regulatory guidelines.

o Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

o Maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.


EDUCATINAL QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

o Any Graduate, MBA is an additional advantage

o 3+ years of experience in sales of unsecured business loans or SME lending.

o Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

o Strong leadership and team management skills.

o Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

o Ability to work under pressure and in a target-driven environment.

o Knowledge of local markets and industry trends.
