Job Description

1 Role Linux L3 Administrator 2 Required Technical Skill Set RHEL, CentOS, SUSE Linux 4 Desired Experience Range 8-12 Yrs 5 Location of Requirement Hyderabad Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have (Ideally should not be more than 3-5) · Strong Linux server administration skills, and clear architectural understanding of RedHat, CentOS and SUSE Linux distributions. · Linux authentication expertise. Local PAM and LDAP or other Active Directory integration · Linux server patching as per the defined security policy. Experience with Red Hat Satellite. · Automation and configuration management of Linux servers through tools like Shell scripting, Ansible or Puppet · OS installation on physical and virtual servers, OS patching, LVM, Server decommission, Server hardening, service administration/configuration like SSH, FTP, DNS, DHCP, NFS and NTP. Cloud Infrastructure administration and VM administration. Should work in 24*7 support · DR exercise – Required strong knowledge in planning and execution of DR activities. Good-to-Have VMware administration, knowledge in Networking, Storage & Backup SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1 Ability to handle all the L3 issues on Linux servers and perform root cause analysis to identify underlying causes and implement corrective actions. 2 Should have Experience in Installing, upgrading and configuring Red Hat Linux, CentOS and SUSE Linux on Physical and Virtual servers 3 Should have good knowledge of shell script/Ansible to automate regular tasks. 4 Good knowledge in Vulnerability Management - Ensure that systems comply with defined security standards when it comes to policies to hardening, security and policy enforcement. 5 Should adhere to the SLA and exposure in Incident, Problem and Change Management 6 Able to plan and execute Hardware Maintenance and firmware upgrades on physical servers. 7 Should be able to configure/manage SAN or NAS storage configuration in client 8 Supporting existing and new application infrastructure in design/plan/deploy 9 Support activities needed to implement and maintain security policy & regulator guidelines (Server hardening) 10 Must have good articulation skills in documentation for Process/KEDB 11 Hands-on experience in OS cluster Creation, configuration and maintenance 12 Required strong knowledge in DR setup and drill Show more Show less
