Legal Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide legal advice and support to directors and other stakeholders on a variety of corporate legal issues, particularly related to IT law, corporate governance, and employee matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, including but not limited to employee agreements, software licensing agreements, and vendor contracts and other legal related task.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and employee regulations, advising on HR policies, disputes, and employment-related legal matters.
• Assist in the development and implementation of internal legal policies and procedures to safeguard the organization’s interests.
• Manage and resolve legal disputes, including employment-related claims, intellectual property issues, and software licensing matters.
• Provide training and legal guidance to internal departments on corporate legal matters, including HR and IT-related issues.
• Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)

REQUIRED SKILLS

• LLB degree from a recognized university.
• Active bar council registration and license to practice law in India.
• Strong understanding of IT-related corporate law, intellectual property law, and employee laws.
• Proven experience in drafting various contracts, particularly employee agreements, software licensing agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Knowledge of labor and employment law, including employee rights, workplace compliance, and HR-related legal matters.
• MBA in Human Resources or similar qualification is a plus.
• Knowledge of handling and filing patent and Trademark and is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi (knowledge of other Indian languages is a plus).
