Job Description

Job Summary

The Legal Executive will support the company’s legal and compliance functions, with a focus on contracts, regulatory compliance, land matters, and dispute management related to infrastructure projects. The role requires close coordination with project, finance, and business teams to mitigate legal risks and ensure smooth project execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesContract & Documentation

  • Draft, review, and vet contracts including EPC agreements, sub-contracts, MoUs, NDAs, JV agreements, and consultancy contracts
  • Assist in contract negotiations with clients, contractors, and vendors
  • Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and company policies

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with central, state, and local laws applicable to infrastructure projects
  • Handle filings, licenses, approvals, and renewals with statutory authorities
  • Support compliance under Companies Act, Labour Laws, Environmental Laws, RERA (if applicable), etc.

Project & Land Matters

  • Assist in legal due diligence for land acquisition and project sites
  • Coordinate with external counsels on land acquisition, title verification, and right-of-way matters
  • Support project teams on legal issues during execution stages

Litigation & Dispute Management

  • Liaise with external advocates for litigation, arbitration, and tribunal matters
  • Maintain records of cases, notices, and legal correspondence
  • Assist in drafting legal notices, replies, and briefs

Corporate Legal Support

  • Support board and management with legal opinions and risk assessments
  • Maintain legal MIS, contract databases, and documentation records
  • Handle day-to-day legal queries from internal stakeholders

Qualifications & SkillsEducation

  • LL.B. from a recognized university
  • Enrollment with State Bar Council (preferred)

Experience

  • 2–5 years of legal experience, preferably in infrastructure, construction, or EPC companies

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial laws
  • Understanding of infrastructure/project-related legal issues
  • Good drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
