Profile Name: Learning & Development executive

No of Openings: 1

Salary: 4L – 4.2L p.a.

Location: New Town, Kolkata

The Learning & Development (L&D) professional is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training and development programs that support employee growth and align with the organization’s goals. The role involves identifying skill gaps, creating engaging learning experiences, and fostering a culture of continuous development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct 

    training needs analysis (TNA)

     to identify skill and knowledge gaps.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate 

    learning programs, workshops, and e-learning modules

    .
  • Collaborate with department heads to align learning initiatives with business objectives.
  • Manage 

    employee onboarding programs

     and ensure smooth knowledge transfer.
  • Develop 

    leadership development, soft skills, and technical training

     initiatives.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance improvement.
  • Maintain 

    LMS (Learning Management System)

     and ensure accurate training records.
  • Stay updated with 

    new learning technologies, tools, and industry best practices

    .
  • Prepare reports on training activities, participation, and ROI for management review

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of 

    instructional design

     and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent 

    communication, facilitation, and presentation

     skills.
  • Ability to design 

    interactive and engaging learning content

    .
  • Analytical skills to measure learning outcomes and ROI.
  • Proficiency in 

    MS Office, LMS platforms, and e-learning tools

    .
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Education, or related field.
  • Certification in 

    L&D, Instructional Design, or Training

     (preferred).
  • Proven experience in an 

    L&D / Training role

     (2–8 years depending on level).
