Job Title: Learning and Development Manager Location: Almas Hospital, Kottakkal Department: Human Resources / Nursing Education Reports to: Chief Nursing Officer / Head – Human Resources About Us Almas Hospital, Kottakkal is a leading multi-specialty healthcare institution committed to delivering excellence in patient care, clinical quality, and continuous professional development. As we expand our services and workforce, we are looking for a dedicated Learning and Development Manager to lead and strengthen our staff training, orientation, and career development programs. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Manager , preferably with a nursing background , to plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive training and development programs for clinical and non-clinical staff. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hospital-based L&D and a deep understanding of the clinical environment and healthcare protocols. Key Responsibilities Assess organizational learning needs and design structured training programs accordingly. Lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of orientation programs for new joiners, including nurses and clinical staff. Conduct training sessions on clinical competencies, soft skills, leadership, safety protocols, and policy compliance. Collaborate with nursing and other department heads to identify specific skill gaps and training needs. Ensure training programs comply with NABH and other accreditation standards. Maintain training records and reports for audit and compliance purposes. Coordinate Continuous Nursing Education (CNE) and in-service programs. Mentor and support nursing educators, trainers, and department leads in effective knowledge transfer. Evaluate the impact of training interventions and continuously improve content and delivery methods. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing (BSc / MSc Nursing preferred). Additional certifications in Training & Development / Hospital Administration will be an added advantage. Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital-based learning & development or nursing education. Strong knowledge of clinical operations, hospital workflows, and adult learning principles. Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills. Proficient in preparing training content, conducting workshops, and using digital learning platforms. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Experience: Learning and Development: 2 years (Required) Healthcare: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
