Lead - Warehouse

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing large, technologically advanced warehouse operations for Swiggy Assure, ensuring high reliability, speed, and quality across convenience categories. Your role will involve driving SOP, KPI creation, benchmarking, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet overall business objectives. Additionally, you will be expected to ensure warehouse efficiencies, SLA adherence, FEFO & FIFO management, and own mid-mile logistics and distribution across network nodes. Key Responsibilities: - Manage large, big-box, high-end warehouse operations - Drive SOP, KPI creation, and benchmarking for warehousing operations - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams - Ensure warehouse efficiencies, SLA adherence, FEFO & FIFO management - Own mid-mile logistics and distribution - Plan and execute reverse logistics effectively - Identify root causes of inventory deviations and implement corrective actions - Drive productivity, automation adoption, and cost optimization - Coordinate with Dark Store Operations for seamless movement and replenishment - Conduct stock audits, reduce shrinkage, and strengthen governance mechanisms - Build and track peak-season operational calendar and manpower planning - Engage with internal stakeholders to solve operational bottlenecks and streamline processes - Lead continuous process improvement and scalable innovation initiatives Qualifications Required: - 3-4 years of experience managing multiple big-box, high-end warehouse & logistics operations - Experience in F&V (Fruits & Vegetables) supply chain is an added advantage - Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and Excel proficiency - Experience working with 3PL partners - Must have led large cross-warehouse teams; City Heads / Warehouse Heads will report into this role - Strong consumer-first mindset with a passion for building high-quality customer experiences - Demonstrated experience in warehousing planning, distribution & logistics at scale - Proven experience in forecasting, productivity planning, and workforce allocation - Ability to build systems, processes, and operational infrastructure for scale - Experience implementing lean methodologies, automation solutions, and tech-driven improvements - Ability to problem-solve rapidly in a fast-scaling environment and drive outcomes through influence,
