Role Overview

Lead UI Engineer

What You'll Do

• Architect, build, and maintain modern web applications using React, Redux, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Lead end-to-end delivery: defining epics, guiding feature implementation, and maintaining architecture integrity.
• Collaborate closely with UX, product, and backend teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Code review and enforce best practices in performance, accessibility, security, and scalability.
• Coach and mentor junior/mid-level engineers; grow the front-end team through hiring interviews, workshops, and tech talks.
• Advocate for reusable component libraries and design system contributions.
• Establish and refine CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies (unit/integration), and deployment processes.
• Leverage GraphQL, WebSockets, and server-side rendering where needed.
• Facilitate containerized environments using Docker/Kubernetes and manage API orchestration through gateways.
  

What You Bring

• 8+ years in enterprise web development; deep experience with React, Redux, TypeScript, JavaScript (5+ years), HTML, CSS, SASS, and RESTful APIs.
• 2+ years in a consulting environment—interfacing directly with enterprise clients.
• 2+ years in team leadership or technical lead roles.
• Proven experience building and scaling reusable component libraries/design systems.
• Solid grasp of browser performance tuning and front-end optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, WebSockets, server-side rendering, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), API Gateways.
• Strong communication and executive presence; comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive leader with a passion for mentorship and elevating team capabilities.

• Mode: Hybrid (3 days onsite at Pune
• Shift Timing: 2 PM – 11 PM IST (Important: confirm candidate’s availability)
• Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Only
• Stability Required: No career gaps or frequent job changes
• Interview Rounds: 2–3 Technical (including US panel)
• Relocation: Not Supported
