Lead UI Engineer

As a UI Lead Engineer at Amorphic Data Cloud, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our self-service data platform by architecting, designing, and implementing web UIs for infrastructure platforms. Your work will contribute to providing operational UI experiences that drive efficiency for our operations teams and ultimately impact our Customer User experience positively. You will collaborate closely with backend leads to establish workflows and APIs, ensuring a seamless integration between frontend and backend systems. By meeting with Customers, Support-teams & Business Users, you will identify opportunities for improving User Experience and work towards implementing innovative solutions that meet their requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding and managing junior developers, performing code reviews, and managing code repositories as required. Additionally, you will work with the lead commerce developer to define implementation strategies that guarantee the best experience for our customers. To succeed in this position, you should hold a ME/BE in Computer Science or a related field and possess a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in ensuring the technical feasibility of given visual designs & UX components. A solid understanding of Javascript, React Ecosystem, and experience working with State Management Libraries and SSR will be advantageous. Your 5+ years of user interface design experience and familiarity with developing restful interfaces will be valuable assets in this role.
