Job Purpose "This position is open with Bajaj Finance ltd." Responsible for leveraging Business Intelligence and Analytics to drive direct loan sales to SME customers by creating and enriching database of prospective customers and using analytics to predict which customers segments should be targeted and the most effective way to target them. Duties and Responsibilities 1.Planning ‚ Understand the AOP of the Business Team and what are their target segments and needs. Break down the AOP into specific tasks. ‚ Work with Risk team to create the rules for loan eligibility calculation and ensure that they are correctly interpreted. Liaise with Business Team to align on the rules. Periodically work with Business Team and Risk Team to review the rules. 2.Business intelligence ‚ Collate customer information from multiple sources and ensure enrichment of data. Provide inputs on various data sources that can be leveraged ‚ Provide inputs on how to collate the information and ensure that the team keeps scrubbing the data to make it more relevant and accurate. ‚ Create rules to be applied for calculating loan eligibility. Ensure that the rules are correctly applied. 3.Analytics ‚ Ideate and identify opportunities to leverage analytics to achieve business priorities (like increasing the percentage share of direct business) and generate new business opportunities (new ways for customer acquisition, increase business from existing customers) ‚ Actively engage in selecting & implementing right analytics model. Review output from the analytics model to ensure outcome is relevant to business goals ‚ Review approval rates with business and identify where issues are happening to improvise on the same ‚ Work with Risk Team to test the code. Finalise the models and get them codified in the system. 4. DECISIONS ‚ Decide which data sets should get used and which ones should not be used; this often involves a cost-benefit analysis. ‚ Any new variables to be introduced and maintained for improving the efficiency of the analytics model. ‚ Choice of external partners for data sourcing and analytics. 5. INTERACTIONS Internal Roles you need to interact with inside the company to enable success ‚ SME Business Team:To understand and align on business targets and ensure usability of data and analytics models ‚ Campaigns Team:To provide necessary data and analysis for targeting clients ‚ STP team:To provide refined data that will help get 100% approval rate ‚ Risk Team:To ensure alignment rules for loan eligibility calculation ‚ Corporate Business Intelligence Team:To determine what data is available and can be leveraged from them External Roles you need to interact with outside the company to enable success ‚ Data and Analytics Vendors:To evaluate offerings from new vendors and coordinate data sourcing & analytics requirements from existing vendors Required Qualifications and Experience Educational Qualifications a)Qualifications ‚ Minimum Qualification:BE/ BTech or MSc Statistics b)Work Experience ‚ Minimum 4-5 years of experience ‚ Should have a background in analytics or business intelligence ‚ Had dealt with large amount of data in past & understand intricacies of impact data can have
