Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Vedam Design is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Recruiter / Recruitment Lead to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the entire recruitment process and partnering closely with business leaders to attract the right talent for our growing organization.

  • Lead the

    end-to-end recruitment process

    from understanding manpower needs, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management to onboarding coordination.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business requirements and translate them into effective recruitment plans.
  • Manage

    full-cycle recruitment

    for middle and senior-level roles, ensuring quality and timely closures.
  • Develop innovative

    sourcing strategies

    using job portals, social media, employee referrals, professional networks, and other channels.
  • Worked on deputation hiring or project-based hiring.
  • Drive

    employer branding initiatives

    to position the company as an employer of choice.
  • Build and maintain a strong

    talent pipeline

    for future hiring needs.
  • Manage recruitment metrics such as

    time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, offer-to-join ratio

    , and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Handle

    vendor management

    and coordinate with recruitment agencies as required.
  • Mentor and guide junior recruiters to improve their performance and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, internal controls, and documentation standards.
  • Support HR in manpower planning, budgeting, and market intelligence reporting.
  • Worked on deputation hiring OR project based hiring

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:

    Bachelors degree or MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience:

    4 to 7 years of progressive experience in recruitment
  • Industry Preference:

    [Specify, e.g., Maritime / Engineering / Design / Manufacturing / IT]
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, etc.) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Proven experience in handling

    bulk as well as niche hiring

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in recruitment reporting and analytics.
  • Candidates having notice period of 15-30 days will be preferred.
