About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Management

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 5 IT recruiters to achieve hiring goals.
    • Monitor performance metrics, provide feedback, and ensure consistent productivity.
    • Conduct regular team meetings, reviews, and recruitment performance analysis.
  • Hands-on Recruitment

    • Actively source, screen, and interview candidates for

      contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent

      IT positions.
    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requirement understanding to candidate onboarding.
    • Utilize job portals, LinkedIn, internal databases, and referrals to identify top talent.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management

    • Partner with Account Managers and Delivery Heads to understand client needs and project timelines.
    • Ensure timely submission of quality profiles and manage candidate pipelines effectively.
    • Coordinate client interviews, follow-ups, and offer negotiations.
  • Process Excellence

    • Maintain accurate documentation in the ATS/CRM.
    • Implement best practices to improve team efficiency and hiring turnaround time.
    • Stay updated with the latest technologies, hiring trends, and market insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in

    IT Recruitment

    , with

    at least 1 year in a team lead or senior recruiter role.

  • Proven track record of handling

    Contract-to-Hire (C2H)

    and

    direct hire

    positions.
  • Solid understanding of Super Niche Skills like

    Guidewire, SAP, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow

  • Experience managing a team, assigning requirements, tracking performance, and training junior recruiters.
  • Excellent sourcing skills using

    LinkedIn Recruiter and Naukri

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to thrive in a performance-driven environment with tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in

    IT staffing firms or consulting companies.

  • Familiarity with

    VMS / MSP hiring models.
