Overview:
We are seeking a Senior / Lead QA Engineer to lead the quality engineering function across our web, mobile, and backend platforms. The current testing process is predominantly manual, and this role requires someone capable of defining the QA vision, establishing test strategy, and implementing a scalable automation framework from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for ensuring end-to-end quality in a tech stack that includes Node.js, Vue, React, Flutter, REST, GraphQL, and both SQL/NoSQL databases.
This is a senior leadership role, ideal for someone with hands-on skills and the strategic mindset to guide the team and influence product quality across the organization.
Required Skills:
· 8+ years of professional experience in QA engineering with both manual and automation focus.
· Strong understanding of modern tech stacks including:
o Web: Node.js, Vue.js, React.js
o Mobile: Flutter, iOS and Android platforms
o APIs: REST, GraphQL
o Databases: SQL, NoSQL
· Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining test automation frameworks and tools.
· Expertise in writing and executing detailed test cases, plans, and bug reports.
· Proficiency in test case management tools (e.g., TestRail), bug tracking (e.g., Jira), and source control (Git).
Preferred Qualifications:
· Prior experience in leading QA teams or projects.
· Exposure to native mobile automation or manual testing with Swift, Kotlin, or React Native apps.
· Familiarity with performance testing, load testing, and accessibility testing tools.
· Working knowledge of CI/CD systems, cloud environments (AWS, Azure), and containerized test environments (Docker).
· Experience in fast-paced startup or agile product delivery teams.
