Lead - Procurement

As a Lead in Procurement at More Retail Private Ltd (MRPL), your role involves collaborating with national/regional vendors for timely procurement of Civil / Electrical / Capital Goods like DG set / AC goods and services for stores, their repair & maintenance, and invoicing. **Principal Responsibilities:** - Responsible for Purchase of Capital goods and services for Store against the lowest total cost of ownership. - Responsible for vendor development (National and regional players). - Responsible for Handling AMC's and other repair and maintenance. - Responsible for implementing procurement strategy for the future. - Proficient in Oracle / SAP / Other ERP System for making Purchase PO's etc. - Excellent Interpersonal Skills for coordination within various departments within the organization as well as with External agencies (Vendors). - Working with team members to track Project Progress. - Good commercial knowledge of GST / HSN Codes / Invoicing etc. - Working with vendors and internal departments for timely opening of new stores. - Integrate and collaborate with key suppliers into programs focused against service, supply cost reduction, and logistic operations. - Develop a strategy for the most cost-effective sourcing (with defined quality), "smell" the new sourcing areas, understand logistics, tax, etc. of import & export of material. **Education and Experience:** - Engineering Graduation / production and maintenance knowledge. - Minimum 3-5 Years of experience in Procurement. - Excellent sourcing and contracting skills, especially in project-based sourcing. - Self-disciplined with the ability to work independently and under pressure. - Ability to work with suppliers from design through to delivery in a collaborative manner to realize quantifiable benefits. - Excellent communication skills as negotiating skills and sensitivity as well. - Analytical skills. - Communication skills. - Advanced level in MS-Office (e.g. Word, Excel, and Power-point). - Experience in leading project organization. - Intercultural competence/know-how and experience. - A detailed understanding of key supplier management, strong negotiation skills, and a keen emphasis on integrity. - Fluent in English (both written and spoken). - Self-Starters.,
