• Tender reading and prepare clarification and deviations
• Prepare Thermal design of Boilers as per client requirement
• Knowledge of supercritical Boilers,Thermal performance ,Auxilliary selection needed
• Knowledge of Pulverisers,Burners
• Knowledge of SCR,FGD is added advantage
• Select right combustion technology based on Client’s emission compliance requirement
• Sizing of Fans, Pumps, ducts, piping, safety valves,
• Preparing Specifications and review offer for fans, pumps, Coal handling system,ash handling system,SNCR,FGD,ESP
• Proposal and contract stage P&ID, PFD, GA, datasheet preparation
• Prepare Bill of materials for purpose of budgeting
• Prepare instrumentation data for control valves, pressure, temperature and flow instruments.
• Basic understanding of ERP system such as BaaN , PLM
• Basic Understanding documentation flow between various departments & customer interface
• To meet client to appraise about design features and provide technical clarification
• Provide predicted performance data to enable Commissioning team in startup of Boiler
• Prepare PG test report to provide inputs for projects closure
• Support commissioning in Trouble shooting of Boiler performance deviation
• Prepare DBR during contract stage for Client approval

• Deep understanding of Engineering Principles such as Thermodynamics, Heat transfer and Fluid Mechanics related to boiler
• Process optimisation skills to provide right and optimum cost effective solutions to client
• Good Analytical Skills to interpret client data and provide right design data
• Good problem solving skills to identify root cause of issues and provide solutions
• Good communication skills to interact within team /cross function team/end client to derive optimum solution to client requirement
