Job Description – Manager / Senior Manager – Investigations Audit (M8 Level) Department: Investigation Audit Location: Mumbai (with travel across India as required) Reports To: Head – Investigation Audit Role Overview The role involves independently managing and executing corporate investigations across the organization, including fraud risk assessments, forensic analysis, and reporting. The position requires strong expertise in handling end-to-end investigations, dealing with third-party forensic firms, applying investigative tools, and preparing reports/presentations for senior management and audit committees. Key Responsibilities Independently plan, conduct, and monitor corporate investigations. Liaise with and direct third-party investigation companies. Apply forensic tools (Relativity, Intella, disk imaging, etc.) for evidence gathering and analysis. Extract and analyze forensic data from SAP systems. Prepare clear and concise investigation reports with findings and recommendations. Conduct fraud risk assessments and recommend preventive measures. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations impacting forensic investigations. Develop and deliver presentations for top management and audit committees. Skills & Requirements Sr. No.Skills Requirements 1EducationProfessional qualification – CA or Law Graduate from a reputed law college. 2Professional Experience Minimum 6 years in corporate investigations in manufacturing/power/mining sectors, OR experience with reputed professional investigation firms (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC, Alvarez & Marsal, Kroll, Protiviti, Chetan Dalal & Co), or major law firms (Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Khaitan & Co, AZB).3Job Experience- Ability to independently carry out and monitor investigations. - Experience working with third-party investigation companies. - Proficiency in forensic tools (Relativity, Intella, disk imaging). - Experience in SAP forensic data extraction & analysis. - Report writing and documentation skills. - Conducting fraud risk assessments. - Knowledge of laws related to forensic investigations. - Ability to prepare and present findings to senior management & audit committees.4Position ReportingM8 Level, reporting to Head – Investigation Audit.5LocationMumbai – with frequent travel across India, depending on whistleblower complaint locations.
