Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Lead– Client Reporting & Accounting Service Management
to oversee the operational, reporting, and governance functions across client reporting and accounting teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
fund administration, fund accounting, and client relationship management
, along with proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the Client Reporting & Accounting Service Management function to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Set team objectives, conduct performance appraisals, and provide ongoing coaching and development.
- Act as a senior escalation point for all client reporting and accounting service-related issues.
- Manage stakeholder engagement and relationship management between Business Client Reporting, Accounting, and Service Management teams.
- Identify operational risks, implement controls, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Produce monthly MIS and KPI reports for oversight teams, ensuring accuracy and insight into team performance.
- Provide detailed monthly commentary to regional oversight functions in Horsham, Singapore, and the US on delivery versus KPI targets.
- Escalate issues to the Head of Client Mandate that fall outside agreed service standards.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance performance, efficiency, and reduce operational risk.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with regional heads of Client Mandate to address region-specific operational and reporting issues.
- Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to fund administration and reporting.
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in fund administration, fund management, or client reporting, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of fund accounting operations, client reporting processes, and financial controls.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with reporting tools or fund administration systems is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on risk mitigation and process optimization.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.
