Lead Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyse specifications and business needs to determine appropriate technologies and configurations to meet those business requirements.
• Lead, Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Help maintain code quality using best Coding practices while playing an Individual contributor role.
• Translate storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
• Read wireframes and produce clean front-end code, and when UI wireframes are not available, come up with basic UI design.
• Coordinate with back-end developers in integrating with front-end code.
• Perform analysis and provide RCAs for issues raised in production systems.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility while building applications.
• Collaborate with business users and the creative team for visualising requirements better.
• Mentor small teams to grow their skills and abilities, including code reviews.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and tasks, seeing them through from start to finish.
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience with excellent coding skills, experience with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.
• 3+ years of experience in MERN application development (preferably ReactJS).
• Experience in state management tools like Redux, Redux Saga or Thunk.
• Experience in designing and building architecture for highly available, scalable and high-performing applications.
• Hands-on experience in designing and building user-friendly web applications.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and understanding of Database technology (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience in native JavaScript, OOPs concept, data structures, algorithms and problem-solving.
• Experience in development of responsive designs on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
• Good to have experience in writing test cases.
