Lead - ESG

Purpose/Objective

To lead sustainability initiatives including the granular processes for preparation of Sustainability Reporting. To assist top management in fine tuning Sustainability strategy and oversee its implementation.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities - Closely work with middle management team to keep sustainability on the top agenda - Design sustainability framework, policy documents, corporate standards, guidelines, and procedures etc. to inculcate sustainability in business practices and help to achieve business targets. - Conduct gap assessment to create base line for Identified key indicators as per the AAHL sustainability framework and prepare action plans - Identify material issues/ risks related to ESG by conducting the stakeholder engagement, grievance management and prepare the risk management framework. - Review and scrutinize the sustainable initiatives related projects/ activities proposals and recommend the appropriate to the top management for approval. - Design, execute and evaluate pilot projects or programs to enhance the sustainability performance. - Identify training or other development opportunities for building capacities - Conduct review meetings with the sustainability committees as per the guidelines of Sustainability Charter to get approvals, suggestions and presenting the approved outcomes to the Board. Coordinate and finalize disclosures as per GRI, DJSI, CDP, SBTi, TCFD, MSCI, Multianalytes etc.

Technical Competencies

Mastery over ESG standards,In depth understanding of Sustainability frameworks,Familiarity with Sustainability disclosures.,Operational Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications: Master’s in Environment Sciences / Technology (or similar) / M.B.A / Specialization in Sustainability. Experience: 10 – 12 Years of which at least 6-7 years in Sustainability function
