As an ESG consultant at NEST by NEPRA, you will play a vital role in driving sustainability initiatives and guiding businesses on their sustainability journey. Your responsibilities and qualifications are outlined below: **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for leading projects and engaging with clients to develop and implement ESG-focused initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, carbon accounting, and decarbonization strategies. Additionally, you will need to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, manage teams, and represent the organization on public platforms. **Key Responsibilities:** - Possess good knowledge of ESG frameworks and ratings such as GRI, BRSR, CDP, SASB, DJSI, etc. - Demonstrate a strong understanding of carbon accounting principles and methodologies. - Expertise in SBTi, net-zero initiatives, and developing decarbonization strategies for clients. - Lead project execution, ensuring alignment with client requirements and delivering high-quality outcomes. - Act as a key point of contact for clients, managing expectations and timelines. - Manage teams effectively, fostering collaboration with stakeholders for successful project delivery. - Utilize excellent communication skills and digital tools for project execution and reporting. - Willingness to travel to client locations as per project requirements and company policies. - Manage tender processes and represent the organization in forums to drive growth and success. **Qualifications:** - Masters/MBA in climate change, sustainability, environmental sciences, or relevant field with a degree in engineering. - Possess 3-5 years or more of experience in consulting or industry related to climate change or sustainability.
