Lead - ESG

As an ESG consultant at NEST by NEPRA, you will play a crucial role in advancing India's sustainability space by embodying the core values of Trust, Transparency, and Scalability. Your expertise in sustainability frameworks, carbon accounting, and decarbonization strategies will drive impactful projects and client engagement. Working from our Ahmedabad, Gujarat office, you will lead ESG-focused initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, and represent our organization on public platforms. Your responsibilities will include demonstrating a solid understanding of various ESG frameworks such as GRI, BRSR, CDP, SASB, and DJSI, along with proficiency in carbon accounting principles and methodologies. You will be expected to lead project execution, ensure client requirements are met, and deliver high-quality outcomes. Effective team management, stakeholder collaboration, and excellent communication skills will be essential in your role. To excel in this position, you should hold a Masters/MBA in climate change, sustainability, environmental sciences, or a related field, along with a degree in engineering. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in consulting or industry within the climate change or sustainability domain is required. Additionally, you must be willing to travel to client locations as per project requirements and company policies, manage tender processes, and represent the organization effectively in various forums to drive growth and success.
