Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage ESG consulting projects across sectors with a focus on South Indian markets. Develop and implement sustainability strategies, climate risk assessments, and decarbonization roadmaps. Engage with clients to understand their ESG goals and deliver tailored solutions. Drive business development initiatives in the South, leveraging local market knowledge and networks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality project delivery. Stay updated on evolving ESG regulations, frameworks, and best practices. Required Qualifications & Experience: 810 years of credible ESG experience , preferably in a consulting environment. Proven track record of working with local businesses in South India ; strong business development acumen in the region is essential. Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Climate Change, Sustainability, or related fields. Additional certifications or experience in climate change, decarbonization, or sustainable finance will be a strong advantage. Demonstrated ability to manage projects through their complete lifecycle. Stable career history candidates should not have a pattern of frequent job changes. Fluency in South Indian languages (e.g., Kannada, Tamil, Telugu) is highly desirable. Must be a domicile of Bangalore, Chennai, or Hyderabad and committed to staying in the location (no relocation to other offices post-joining). Preferred Attributes: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Passion for sustainability and making a tangible impact.
