Job Title: Lead Engineer – .NET
Location: Cochin (COK) / Trivandrum (TVM)
Experience: 5 to 8 years (relevant experience: 5 to 8 years)
Salary budget up to 20 lpa

Job Purpose
Lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality web applications and APIs using .NET Core. Take ownership of technical excellence, mentoring, and process improvement within the development team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver .NET Core-based Web API solutions with RDBMS or NoSQL backends.
Review pull requests (PRs) and ensure code quality, coverage, and compliance with coding standards.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
Work on REST APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with architects to define solution/technical architecture.
Produce technical documentation, including design and process specifications.
Mentor junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and agile principles.
Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and lead them in the absence of a Scrum Master.
Troubleshoot, test, and maintain applications for performance optimization.
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and task management.
Continuously explore and pilot new technologies for team upskilling.
Technical Skills
Mandatory:
Strong expertise in ASP.NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework Core
Excellent command of object-oriented design, design patterns, and LINQ
Experience integrating various databases and data sources
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and static code analyzers
Familiarity with GIT, SVN, and agile tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Confluence
Good to Have:
Front-end experience with Angular or ReactJS
Experience with Blazor and ASP.NET Identity
Exposure to microservices and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP – e.g., AWS Lambda, SNS, Azure Functions)
Understanding of identity providers such as IdentityServer, Auth0, or Keycloak
