Job Title: QA (API, Automation, Quality Engineering)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Architect to lead our overall quality engineering practice. This role will define testing strategy, build automation and API testing frameworks, integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure regulatory and functional quality across all banking applications.

The QA Architect works closely with development, product, DevOps, and compliance teams to embed quality into every stage of delivery while mentoring senior testers and enforcing testing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the QA strategy and testing architecture across banking platforms.

• Build and maintain automation and API testing frameworks.

• Establish testing standards, templates, and quality metrics.

• Integrate testing with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.

• Oversee functional, performance, and security testing.

• Perform test coverage and risk analysis for releases.

• Review and manage test environments and test data.

• Work with business, product, and development teams throughout the SDLC.

• Track defects and drive timely resolutions.

• Implement and evaluate testing tools for effectiveness.

• Mentor and guide QA teams.

• Provide status, quality metrics, and risk updates to stakeholders.

• Stay current with banking regulations and testing best practices.

Domain Exposure (Preferred)

• Payments and transaction processing systems.

• Core banking integrations.

• Risk, compliance, and reporting systems.

• Multi-channel platforms (API, mobile, web).

Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with API testing.

• Experience designing automation frameworks.

• Knowledge of performance testing.

• Basic understanding of security testing standards.

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools.

• Ability to validate data using SQL (good to have).

• Good understanding of banking workflows and regulations.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a QA Architect or senior QA leadership role.

• Working knowledge of Agile and DevOps delivery models.

• Proven experience mentoring QA teams and setting testing standards.
