Role Overview

Vlocity Lead Engineer

You will collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and development teams to translate complex business requirements into robust, high-performance solutions that drive business transformation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead

    end-to-end Salesforce/Vlocity solution design and implementation

    , ensuring scalability and alignment with client business goals.
  • Work closely with clients to

    gather, analyze, and translate business requirements

    into functional and technical designs.
  • Conduct

    customer workshops

    and create detailed

    solution design documentation

    (HLD, LLD).
  • Manage and guide development teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain

    Salesforce/Vlocity components

    such as OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, and Vlocity Cards.
  • Design and implement

    integrations between Salesforce and external systems

    using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Provide

    technical leadership and mentorship

    to junior team members and developers.
  • Support

    pre-sales activities

    , including solutioning, scoping, and estimation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery across sales, service, and community clouds.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce and Vlocity advancements, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance platform capabilities.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 6–8 years

    of total software/CRM experience, with

    4+ years

    in Salesforce/Vlocity CRM.
  • Proven experience in

    large-scale Salesforce/Vlocity engagements

    as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Lead Engineer.
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
  • Vlocity CPQ and Order Management (OM).
  • Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Proficiency in

    Quote-to-Cash

    ,

    Lead Management

    ,

    Case Management

    , and

    Call Center

    processes.
  • Experience with

    Agile/Scrum methodologies

    .
  • Hands-on experience with

    Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Data Modeling

    .
  • Familiarity with

    AppExchange products

    and

    Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Wave Analytics

    is a plus.


Certifications (Preferred)

  • Vlocity CPQ and Order Management (OM) Certifications (required).
  • Salesforce Certifications such as:
  • Salesforce Certified Integration Architect

  • Salesforce Certified Data Architect

  • Sales Cloud Consultant / Service Cloud Consultant

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)

    – a plus.
