We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead - Digital Technology to join our technology team as an end-to-end owner driving digital innovations and strategic technology projects. This role requires a seasoned professional who can bridge business strategy with technical execution while leading cross-functional initiatives that drive organizational growth and digital transformation.
Strategic Leadership & Innovation
· Drive end-to-end ownership of digital technology initiatives from conception to implementation
· Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and digital trends to drive innovation within the organization
· Develop and execute comprehensive digital transformation strategies aligned with business objectives
· Lead research and development of new digital solutions and platforms
· Manage complex, multi-stakeholder technology projects with full accountability for delivery
· Define project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and success metrics
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders
· Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and developers
· Architect scalable and robust digital solutions that meet current and future business needs
· Evaluate and recommend technology stack, tools, and platforms for various initiatives
· Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, security, and data management
· Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with business strategy
· Present project updates, technical recommendations, and strategic insights to executive stakeholders
· Partner with business units to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
· Manage vendor relationships and external technology partnerships
· Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence within the team
· Participate in hiring and building high-performing technology teams
· Establish processes and frameworks that enhance team productivity and project delivery.
Education
· MBA from a recognized business school (required)
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical field
· 8-12 years of progressive experience in digital technology, software development, or related fields
· Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale technology projects
· Experience in digital transformation initiatives and emerging technology implementation.
· Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, etc.)
· Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, and digital platforms
· Understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and system integration
· Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
· Industry Experience: 3+ years of experience in the lending industry (banks, NBFCs, fintech lenders, or financial services)
· Lending Technology Knowledge: Understanding of lending lifecycle, credit assessment systems, loan origination systems (LOS), loan management systems (LMS), and regulatory compliance requirements
· Experience with fintech-specific technologies and regulatory frameworks
· Track record of building and scaling technology teams in financial services
