About the Role:

Lead Engineer Backend (Node.js)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a backend team of 8–10+ engineers
Define backend architecture using Node.js, Express/NestJS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and microservices
Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps for seamless delivery
Oversee API design (REST/GraphQL), system performance, and scalability
Drive hiring, performance reviews, and team development

Requirements:

Master’s degree in computer science or related field
10–15 years in backend development with 5+ years in engineering leadership
Expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, system design, and distributed architecture
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud-native microservices
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

Experience with Kafka, WebSockets, or AI-related infrastructure (vector databases)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frontend alignment (React/React Native)
