Job for Store Manager for Laundry Store
Job Context: We are looking for store manager who can manage and supervise laundry store
Place of Posting: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
Experience Requirement: Minimum 1 Year
Salary: As per industry standard (Minimum Rs. 20,000/- per month), Higher salary is no bar for good and experienced candidates
Other Facilities: 04 days off in a month, Petrol allowance, Increments, Bonus, Annual Health Check up, health insurance, accidental insurance, Term Life Insurance, shared accommodation (need based), PF/Gratuity
Essential Requirements:
1. 12th Pass and working knowledge of English
2. Proven experience in a supervisory role within the laundry industry
3. Strong understanding of laundry processes and modern hi-tech equipment
4. The ability to troubleshoot issues with machines or garment care
5. Familiarity with computerized systems for order tracking and billing
6. Excellent organizational and time-management skills
7. Strong communication skills and leadership abilities for dealing with customers and working as part of a team.
Job Responsibility:
As a Laundry Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of laundry attendants, ensuring the highest quality of cleaning and customer service. You will manage inventory, oversee the maintenance of laundry equipment, and implement efficient processes to optimize operations.
1. Conduct timely store opening and closing activities as per schedule.
2. Inspect the clothes received in the store by walk-in customers.
3. Inspect the clothes received in the store by the delivery boy.
4. Generate invoices for walk-in customers as well as home pick-up and record maintenance.
5. Mark orders “Ready for dispatch” after completion of the process.
6. Get timely insured deliveries done as per the home Drop-off process/schedule.
7. Should sort garments according to urgency as well as priority.
8. Should check random clothes/garments for quality assurance.
9. Responsible for keeping a check at Quality checks, store management, supervising staff, scheduling staff as per roster, attendance records, training laundry staff, connect with the pick-up boy and note the Kilometer.
10. Digital order management like using store technology, which may include ERP/CRM/apps for managing customer data, tracking customer orders and managing inventory levels of cleaning chemicals, packaging materials and other supplies, coordinating with suppliers and vendors and ordering supplies.
11. Maintenance of record register as per customer (Online & walk In), stock registers
12. Supervising and managing collection centres, its staff and its functioning
13. Ensure the store and collection centres are clean, organized, and compliant with all health and safety regulations. Making arrangements for regular & proper maintenance/cleaning of stores and collection centres.
14. Maintaining liaisoning with landlords of store, collection centres and their staff to ensure undisrupted services in store
15. Contacting existing customers to generate repeat orders, planning and executing marketing activities for bringing new customers through Resident Welfare Associations/Societies, Putting canopies etc
16. Contacting and coordinating with advertising agencies
17. Functional knowledge of advanced hydrocarbon technology and specialized equipment for cleaning, drying, and potentially pressing garments.
18. Ensure functionality of machines and equipments and upholding quality and safety standards. Conduct troubleshooting, diagnose and address minor equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance. Coordinate with the external vendors for major repairs.
19. Switch on lights and computer and switch off all the machines at the time of closing.
20. Check all the water pipes and electric connections.
21. Settle all the articles in their place.
22. Interact professionally with clients, address their queries, and resolve any complaints regarding laundry services.
23. Manage laundry budgets and control costs, prepare reports and budgets by tracking sales, monitor expenses, and generate reports on productivity and financial performance for senior management.
24. Any other job required for smooth functioning of store or as desired by senior management/store owner.
