Lasernet Document Developer

Renishaw are undertaking an ambitious project to refresh our ERP systems throughout the global subsidiary network, and we are seeking an enthusiastic Lasernet document developer to play a key role in the full project lifecycle.

You will have at least 3 years’ commercial experience of developing, implementing, and supporting document output solutions using the Formpipe Lasernet toolset ideally within Microsoft Dynamics 365.You will have an analytical mind, with strong attention to detail and desire to probe further into understanding requirements or establishing a root cause of problems. You will need the ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues and stakeholders and will have strong commercial and business awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support Lasernet document output templates based on requirements.

• Undertake comprehensive unit tests of document templates.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to fully understand document requirements, translating them into technical document specifications.

• Configure Lasernet server.

• Monitor Lasernet system health and performance, proactively identifying and addressing issues.

• Coordinate with external vendors and consultants to implement upgrades, patches, and new modules.

• Ensure that all Lasernet designs are based on best practice guidelines.

Key requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience of developing and implementing Lasernet documents in a Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment.

• Solid understanding of key Dynamics 365 CE and FO principles.

• Experience of Lasernet server configuration.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with stakeholders and project teams.

Desirable requirements 

• Understanding of Azure DevOps or equivalent.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related subject.
