About the Role

Lead TGIPL Lab operations, ensuring compliance with AATCC, ASTM, ISO, and JIS standards, driving new test capabilities, and managing accreditation, budgets, and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor lab operations in line with group SOPs
• Initiate and implement new testing capabilities
• Ensure compliance with AATCC, ASTM, ISO, and JIS standards
• Conduct root cause analysis for non-conforming tests and product failures
• Liaise with buyers and internal teams on technical and operational matters
• Manage sample receipt, test distribution and TAT
• Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and buyer accreditation processes
• Monitor correlation/proficiency testing with third-party labs
• Uphold good laboratory practices and housekeeping standards
• Organize technical training for lab personnel in coordination with the group lab head
• Handle lab budgets, manpower allocation, and cost management
• Report daily operations to the General Manager (Group Lab Head)

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech in Textile Technology or B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry
• 8–10 years of experience in woven textile testing
