Job Description

L3 Microsoft O365 Engineer


Exchange Online


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the L3 escalation point for all Microsoft 365-related incidents and requests, providing expert-level support.

  • Administer and troubleshoot

     core services, including:

~ Exchange Online:

~ Microsoft Teams:

~ SharePoint Online & OneDrive:

~ Azure AD (Entra ID):

  • Lead the resolution of P1/MIM incidents related to Microsoft 365 services, ensuring rapid service restoration.
  • Implement and manage security and compliance policies (DLP, retention, eDiscovery, auditing).
  • Manage hybrid environments and synchronization with on-premises Active Directory (AD Connect, ADFS).
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document findings to prevent future issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and runbooks to empower L1/L2 support teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new feature rollouts, migrations, and upgrades.


Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience

     in Microsoft infrastructure, with a minimum of 5 years focused on Microsoft 365.

  • Expert-level knowledge

     of Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Azure AD.

  • Strong proficiency

     in PowerShell scripting for administration, troubleshooting, and automation.

  • Proven experience

     with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center.

  • Demonstrated ability

     to lead high-severity incident resolution under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.


Preferred Qualification:

Microsoft certifications (e.g.,

Experience with third-party migration tools (e.g., Quest, BitTitan).

Intune / Endpoint Manager

Exposure to enterprise monitoring tools.
