Job Summary:

As a Key Account Manager (KAM) at Uni Klinger play a pivotal role to oversee and grow key accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and achieving sales and revenue targets

Role & responsibilities

Account Management:

Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key accounts in the core sector.

Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, addressing their needs, queries, and concerns effectively.

Business Development:

Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services to existing clients.

Expand Uni Klinger's footprint within the assigned accounts and develop a robust pipeline of opportunities.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue objectives within the assigned accounts.

Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and commercial terms to clients.

Customer Focus:

Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions in line with Uni Klinger's offerings.

Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, and customer service) to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.

Market Intelligence:

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in the core sector.

Provide insights and feedback to the management to refine product strategies and business approaches.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and account status using CRM tools. Provide regular updates and reports to the regional sales head and senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in industrial sales, account management, or business development.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial products such as steam systems, valves, heat exchangers, gaskets, etc., is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
