Key Account Manager for the Organic Industry Job Description Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Key Account Manager to join our team in the organic industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and a passion for organic products. Key Responsibilities: Account Management : Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts in the organic industry and understand each account's unique needs and requirements by ensuring customer satisfaction. Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth within key accounts and also identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling of organic products. Also, collaborate with the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities or threats. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and potential new business opportunities. Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimisation. Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with key accounts and ensure contracts are properly executed and adhered to by both parties. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and product development, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to support key accounts. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). Proven experience in key account management, sales, or business development within the organic industry. Strong understanding of organic products, certifications, and industry regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Willingness to travel as needed.
