Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Strategic planning & leadership:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
Lead and mentor supply chain teams across procurement, logistics, and inventory functions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Demand forecasting & inventory management:
Oversee demand forecasting and ensure accurate planning to meet market needs.
Monitor and manage inventory levels across multiple locations.
Implement inventory optimization strategies to minimize excess or obsolete stock.
Procurement & supplier management:
Establish and maintain strategic supplier partnerships.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements with key suppliers.
Evaluate supplier performance and mitigate risks in the supply base.
Logistics & distribution oversight:
Supervise transportation and distribution operations to ensure timely delivery.
Optimize logistics costs while maintaining high service levels.
Coordinate with internal teams and third-party logistics providers for smooth operations.
Process improvement & technology implementation:
Identify opportunities to enhance supply chain processes and implement best practices.
Integrate advanced technologies (ERP, WMS, TMS) for automation and data-driven decision-making.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Financial & performance management
Monitor key supply chain KPIs (lead times, fill rates, order accuracy, costs).
Prepare and manage budgets for supply chain operations.
Report on supply chain performance and provide insights to senior management.
Risk management & compliance:
Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure regulatory compliance in procurement, transportation, and storage.
Develop contingency plans for disruptions in supply or demand.
