Junior Software Engineer

Job Title:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our development team. You will work closely with senior engineers to design, build, test, and deploy scalable software applications. This role is ideal for someone who has a solid understanding of programming fundamentals, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web or backend applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior developers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of coding standards.
• Debug and fix issues in existing applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product to deliver high-quality software.
• Learn and apply new technologies, frameworks, and tools as required.
• Support deployment activities and post-release maintenance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in software development (internship or project experience acceptable).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to web frameworks (Spring Boot, Django, React, or Angular).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
