Junior Purchase Executive

As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing supplier relationships, purchase order processing, logistics coordination, cost analysis, quality assurance, and cross-functional collaboration. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supplier Management and Negotiation: Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure the best value for quality and cost. - Purchase Order Management: Prepare, process, and track purchase orders and related documentation in compliance with company policies. - Logistics and Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels, track order status, and coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely receipt of materials and avoid delays. - Cost Management and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities, implement cost reduction initiatives, and analyze spending patterns to stay within budget. - Quality Assurance: Ensure purchased goods and services meet required quality standards and specifications, resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to understand procurement needs and align purchasing strategies with organizational objectives. Qualifications Required: - Experience: Typically 1+ year of experience in procurement or a related field is preferred, especially within a relevant industry like Engineering.
