Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Network Engineer to support daily network and IT operations. The role involves troubleshooting network and hardware issues, maintaining IT systems, ensuring the cleanliness of equipment, and managing IT inventory.

Key Responsibilities

A.    Network & Technical Support

·       Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.

·       Monitor and support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.

·       Troubleshoot basic network issues and assist with cabling and configuration.

·       Provide user support for network connectivity and escalate complex issues as required.

·       Assist in implementing basic network security measures.

·       Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS (Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11).

·       Assist in server room system servicing, including basic health checks and upkeep.

B.    Hardware Troubleshooting & Maintenance

·       Diagnose and fix hardware issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.

·       Perform routine maintenance and assist with installation and upgrades.

C.    IT Systems Cleaning & Upkeep

·       Ensure regular cleaning and proper upkeep of IT systems and accessories.

·       Maintain dust-free, organized workstations and server/network equipment.

·       Ensure proper storage and handling of cables, adapters, and accessories to prevent damage.

D.   Inventory & Asset Management

·       Maintain IT asset records and perform regular inventory checks.

·       Assist with asset tagging, tracking, and procurement coordination.

·       Handle market purchase and procurement of IT hardware, networking devices, and accessories as required.

E.    Documentation & Reporting

·       Maintain basic network and asset documentation.

·       Prepare simple reports on issues, maintenance, and inventory status.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or a related field.

·       Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, DHCP, DNS).

·       Familiarity with routers, switches, access points, and related software.

·       Basic hardware troubleshooting knowledge.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Good communication skills.
