Junior HRBP

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and people-focused Junior HR Business Partner

Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Lifecycle Management

•  Support onboarding and induction for new joiners
• Ensure timely completion of documentation, HRMS updates, and compliance
• Coordinate exit interviews, FnF documentation, and offboarding processes

2. HR Operations & Support

•  Act as the first point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, leaves, attendance, payroll inputs, etc.
•  Maintain accurate HR data, trackers, and MIS
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Payroll, IT, Admin) for employee requests

3. Employee Engagement

• Plan and execute engagement activities, R&R, fun Fridays, team connects
•  Conduct pulse checks and share insights with the HRBP/Manager
•  Support organising internal events, training, and HR initiatives

4. Performance & People Processes

• Assist with probation reviews, monthly evaluations, and appraisal cycles
•  Ensure performance documentation is maintained and communicated timely
•  Follow up with managers on performance action items

5. Policy & Compliance

•  Ensure employees adhere to HR policies, POSH guidelines, and internal processes
•  Maintain confidential employee records and manage HR audits

Must-Have Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of HR processes (onboarding, leaves, payroll inputs, performance management)
• Good with Google Sheets, Excel, and HRMS tools
• High ownership, empathy, and problem-solving ability
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

Good-to-Have

• Experience in a fast-paced/startup environment
• Exposure to employee engagement or performance management
• Ability to manage small projects independently
