About the Role

Junior Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to support business operations.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present insights clearly.
• Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies to drive data-backed decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
• Maintain and update datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Support ongoing data quality checks and documentation.
• Help automate recurring reports and data processes using basic scripting or BI tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience as a Data Analyst (internship/project experience accepted).
• Strong understanding of Excel/Google Sheets.
• Basic proficiency in SQL for querying databases.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
• Good analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Basic understanding of statistical concepts.

Preferred / Good-to-Have

• Experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
• Exposure to dashboards and automated reporting workflows.
• Knowledge of data cleaning techniques and data governance practices.
• Understanding of business metrics and KPIs.
